This entry covers the final installation of the canopy and the new canopy waring switch for the RV-12 airplane. The switch works with the Dynon Skyveiw system. I'm not going to do a step by step but will note the highlights.
Removal of old latch.
The new latch block is pictured above.
Before going any further I need to install the canopy. Then continued with the switch install.
Builder's note: The wiring supplied was too short, so I added an extension starting down by the ELT bracket. Also to pull the wire I found a borescope to be very helpful.
So that is basically it for the switch install other than downloading the new software, testing the switch and then documentation. Next comes the installation of the prop on the RV.
